Recent Graduate from Cal State University, Monterey Bay

Hello, my name is Angelica Alcazar, and welcome to my ePortfolio. I graduated from California State University, Monterey Bay with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, concentrating in molecular biology, and a minor in Chemistry. During my undergraduate career, I was actively involved in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Center and proudly served as an Innovation Scholar, where I advocated for LatinX and other underrepresented groups in STEM. I also contributed to supporting Innovation Scholars by helping them develop their ePortfolios and sharing their stories through the podcast Otterly Curious.

Through my academic and research experiences, I developed a strong interest in pursuing a professional career in laboratory and scientific research environments where I can continue building hands-on technical skills while contributing to meaningful scientific work. This ePortfolio highlights my academic journey, research projects, and professional experiences that reflect my commitment to growth, collaboration, and innovation. Thank you for visiting, and I invite you to explore how my background and interests align with your goals.
